The crowd is packed. It’s the last round of the night. You hear nothing but the screaming fans behind you and the rush of metal against metal in the ring. It’s light and dark and light again. You feel your own voice rising up inside you, rising up to shout, “Go Atom, go!!!”
This movie was one of the best I’ve seen in a while. All I can say is that it had a very strong plot going on. When I first walked into the theater with my boyfriend, we both expected nothing more than a rock ’em sock ’em beat ’em up movie. But this film was so moving! The characters were amazing! You watched as a man rose from the very bottom, with money issues, personality problems, his life falling apart … with the help of his eleven year-old son. When the kid finds an old robot in a junkyard, their lives change forever.
They follow a path of practice and patience, teaching this robot to box and teaching each other how to be a family, until everything they dreamed of is at their feet.
This film is all about courage, believing in yourself, and above all else, the importance of family.
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie to the fullest. I think it deserves five out of five stars, and I’d watch it again. If you’re looking for a great movie, go see this one! I highly recommend it!
Thanks for reading.
