Last Day of School – ign.com – Nosy Cashiers

It’s finally here, the day I’ve long been waiting for! No, not the release day of Elder Scrolls 5 or The Legend of Zelda … but the last day of school!! I literally have one final day left of school before my work term starts on Monday! It’s very exciting. It’s just one more thing I won’t have to worry about.

In other news, has anyone ever tried buying anything from ign.com? My boyfriend created an account today, tried to sign up for a free 30-day trial for a game, and they charged him $80 for it!! Then, when he tried to contact them, there was NO phone number! All you can do is leave a comment on their site and “hope” that they get back to you. We seriously searched everywhere for a number, and finally I searched google and found one. Though, when he called, he reached a voice mail that told him to check customer support on their website.

Seriously?

So it’s a really annoying company in my opinion. Has anyone ever had any problems like this before? And if so, is there a better way of going about it?

I went to the pharmacy today to pick up a prescription, and was happy to see that there were no cashiers behind the counter this time, being nosy and reading my prescription like last time. I was very much irritated when it happened, and no one behind the counter said anything at all. But when the pharmacy girl heard about what happened, she was not impressed and said she’d talk to the manager about it.

Mission accomplished, I guess. Have any of you guys dealt with nosy people like this before? I’d love to hear about it. Funny stories always makes my day. : )

Anyway, I’m heading off to maybe watch a little bit of Criminal Minds. Currently at season 6 right now. Almost at the newest season! Now I’m just wondering what to watch after I finish it … hmm …

Why, Canada, why?

‘Rat,’ said the Mole, ‘I simply can’t go and turn in, and go to sleep, and do nothing, even though there doesn’t seem to be anything to be done.’

Hello again. It’s the middle of the week and I’m back to school on Friday. Summer can’t last forever I guess. Today I went down to the mall to pre-order a game from my favourite game series, The Legend of Zelda. Though getting a copy of Skyward Sword’s Collector’s Edition was apparently impossible in Canada, or so they told me. Nothing I can really do about that, except order online. Quite disappointing.

So now I’m at home eating fried noodles for lunch and possibly going to watch the Fifth Element later.

I’ve added a new page called “About the Site”, based on my own creation in Photoshop. I hope to do more pages like these. It’s quite enjoyable.

Anyway, it’s been a long and very tiring day, so I think I’ll sign off for now.
